Korra of the Southern Water Tribe by s0nified Korra of the Southern Water Tribe by s0nified
So many feels. I GET SO MANY FEELS FROM KORRA.

What do I have to say about this costume? For one, it's comfortable. The top was made from a 4-way matte moleskin as a leotard since I didn't want my jellyrolls accidentally flashing the world to see. The buttflap is made from faux suede from Joann's and long-pile ivory fur was handstitched on. This was the thing I had the most difficult part deciding if I wanted to go with a light brown or a dark brown and opted for the light. Everything else is made with some sort of blue cotton.

The most difficult part of this costume was probably the bicep armband and the thing I least like about this costume. I'll probably remake it eventually but it'll do for now.

Hey, if you like my costumes (whenever I get around to making them), feel free to join my page on facebook or tumblr.

Amazing photo, good job photo husband dude. And I like the color combinations you chose for Korra!!!! Any wig tips?? - How to get it in ponytail without showing wefts??

Wow, I never am on here anymore, but hopefully this helps~ I bought the wig from Arda Wigs (arda-wigs.com) - arda-wigs.com/products/ferrari. Their wigs are very thick and I was just able to put it up in a pony tail towards the middle (I secured it to a wig head plus a wig clamp and lots of T-pins). To get it up a little higher, Korra's little ponytail thingy helped keep it up. It's pretty straight forward. I think the only wefts I put in the wig was in the front to lengthen it a bit, which I still cut down anyways haha. I hope this helps!

That hair gave me a lot of headaches and I'm still thinking about cutting the front tails down a bit since they are too long! But thank you so much!
